Marina and the Diamonds. PEDL и другие авторские общества 9. WMG от лица компании East West Records UK Ltd BMI - Broadcast Music Inc. Written by Marina Diamandis. Produced by David Kosten & Marina Diamandis. Animation by Bill Richards. FROOT is available to is the third studio album by Welsh singer Marina Diamandis and her last under the stage name Marina and the Diamonds. It was originally scheduled to be released on 3 April 2015 by Neon Gold Records and Atlantic Records, although it was ultimately released on 13 March 2015 due to unauthorised Internet leaks. Written entirely by Diamandis, she collaborated with David Kosten for production. FROOT is available stylized as FROOT is the third studio LP by MARINA, released on March 13, 2015. The album was originally to be released on April 3, 2015 however, the date was pushed forward following the entire album leaking online in February 2015. Marina released songs off the album leading up to the release date, starting with the title track, Froot in October 2014. The album itself was a worldwide success reaching the top 10 in both the United States and United Kingdom simultaneously, Marina's first. The strength of Marina Diamandis work, historically, has been her lack of subtlety and her playful Technicolor self-presentation. And yet on Froot, her focus is inward. Here, she ditches the mega-star collaborators and writes not only by herself, but about herself. Marina & The Diamonds. Release date: 16 March 2015. Country: United Kingdom. The lead single and title track, a space-disco belter with ludicrously Chic-indebted basslines, crispy beats and all the unique vocal Marina-isms you could wish for, is a stellar stand-out. Youve got the nudge-nudge wink-wink juxtaposition of Happy , which is both resoundingly uplifting and bulging with despair. Blue is giant Top 40 pop begging for a proper single release. Album: Froot. Artist: Marina & the Diamonds. Label: Warner Music. Genre: Pop. Marina Diamandiss 2012 album Electra Heart was as much a cry from the heart as a conceptual pop music construct that gradually turned on its creator. It was also a highly intelligent pop album that catapulted Marina into the mainstream for a couple of years so much so that as its commercial flash finally fizzled out, so, too, did its stars engagement with the fame game. Froot , with all of the songs solely written by Diamandis, leaves little room for doubt as to the meanings that lie buried in titles such as. The alter ego of Marina Diamandis aka Marina and the Diamonds on her 2012 sophomore release, Electra Heart, was an airhead pop star who represented pop culture in its bleakest throes. On her third album, FROOT, the Welsh singer-songwriter ditches K-pop twists and glittery hearts in favor of revealing her true self, penning every song herself and only bringing one co-producer, David Kosten, on board. Turns out shes as emotionally frivolous as the rest of us, although FROOT communicates that a little too well. Jumping from intense outpours to cheeky pop, its an album of songs meant to be cherry-picked and passed on, not listened to as a whole
