The Early Years. photo album. Early concert with Pete Best on drums. We used to play lunchtime dates. We'd get up and go down to the Cavern and play from noon till about two. On 22nd August, 1969, The Beatles all turned up at Tittenhurst Park - John's house in Ascot, at the time - for what turned out to be their last set of photos taken together. Photographers Monte Fresco and Ethan Russell took these now iconic images. Read more. Early Recording Sessions At Abbey Road. The Early Beatles does not represent its songs in the sequence - or in their exact content - that its makers intended not by a long shot. That said, this is also the way that tens of millions of listeners in the U. did hear this material between 1965 and 1983. And of course, any means by which one gets to hear 11 1963-vintage tracks by the Beatles is OK. Whatever particular order or specifics of the songs, the listening experience will stack up well against any other 11 songs by anybody else who was walking around back then. So this record still rates high, though not as high as it might,. THE EARLY BEATLES was originally released March 22, 1965 in the U. Track Listings. Disc: 1. Love Me Do mono mix. This is a very good album containing the Beatles early songs. A must have for collectors. The harmonies sound absolutely incredible in stereo. Paul's bass line in, I Saw Her Standing There, really lets you know that, even at only 21 years old, he was a truly great bassist Read more. One person found this helpful. The Beatles early releases were on the Vee-Jay, Swan and Tollie labels, before EMIs US counterpart, Capitol, sat up and took notice. Unfortunately for The Beatles, Capitol often insisted in dropping certain tracks, reassembling running orders and constructing new releases by economic and judicious use of the songs that were coming from London. The Early Beatles is the Beatles' sixth release on Capitol Records, and their seventh album for the American market, released in mono catalogue number T 2309 and stereo ST 2309. The album resembles more of an early compilation because all of the tracks had previously been featured on the early 1964 Vee-Jay release Introducing.
