Infinite Mind would never have seen the light of day without the help and love of our friend Sissy B. He blessed us with over 6 hours of super8 film, shot between 1969 and 1974, documenting the spiritual pilgrimage to the lands of India and Nepal of a mysterious woman, Ms. Elsa. We decided to edit some selected highlights from this extensive film archive, attemtping to draw a relationship between the colors, images, and symbolic motifs of Ms. Elsa's footage, and the astonishing variety of feelings and moods we felt during the viewing of her work. We then provided a brand new soundtrack, involving friends and collaborators in the recording process, mixing natural and electronic sounds into an abstract soundpainting. Our goal was to recreate specific moments in which the viewer/listener interacts with the places and people of the video.
